Hotfixes: January 26, 2026
World of Warcraft
Here's a list of hotfixes addressing various issues in World of Warcraft: The War Within, Mists of Pandaria Classic, Season of Discovery, Burning Crusade Classic, WoW Classic Era, and Hardcore. Some hotfixes take effect immediately, while others require scheduled realm restarts. Note that certain issues require client-side patch updates. This list will be updated as more hotfixes are applied.

Classes
- Demon Hunter ** Devourer *** Fixed an issue with Soul Fragments of Devourer not functioning on Dawnbreaker.
- Druid ** Restoration *** Grove Guardians no longer consume mana upon summoning.
- Monk ** Mistweaver [with scheduled realm maintenance] *** Thunder Focus Tea's cooldown reduced to 30 seconds (from 45). *** Mana Tea effectiveness increased by 20%.
- Shaman ** Enhancement *** Maelstrom Weapon's level requirement lowered to 12. ** Restoration *** Chain Heal healing increased by 25%. *** Healing Rain healing increased by 82%.
Dungeons and Raids
- The random Heroic Dragonflight dungeon queue now requires the correct average item-level.
- Temple of Sethraliss ** Fixed a soft-lock issue during the Avatar of Sethraliss encounter.
- Vault of the Incarnates ** Fixed cleanup issues in the Raszageth encounter for Story Mode.
Horrific Visions
- Item-level rewards are no longer displayed on the Horrific Vision event widget.
- Rewards increase based on progress in Horrific Vision runs at squished item levels for Season 3.
Housing
- Daily Endeavor quests no longer reset on logout and are now weekly quests, all available simultaneously.
- The Grand Collector's tap limit increased, allowing multiple players to complete the Blade of the Skyguard task.

Items

Trading Post
- [With scheduled realm maintenance] Added a new January activity: 'Legion Remix: Mix Up'. Players logging in during January earn 650 points for their Traveler's Log.

Characters
- Warband Mentors: The War Within achievement XP buff should now apply correctly to characters below level 80.
- Corrected an issue with legacy content scaling for Dragonflight leveling characters.
Classes
- Death Knight ** Unholy *** Adjusted various damage values for Unholy Death Knights.
- Mage ** Frostbolt moved to the Frost Mage section of the Spellbook for easier access.
Delves
- Fixed a bug mentioning Valeera alongside Brann's experience bar.
Dungeons and Raids
- Fixed a bug preventing stage progression in certain encounters.
- Resolved low health issues for some creatures in Nerub'ar Palace and Liberation of Undermine.
Housing
- Added Elegant Elven Barrel as a decor item.
- Repaired Lightly Broken Fences found in neighborhoods.
Mage Tower
- Adjusted enemy health in several challenges to match intended pacing and difficulty with the Midnight pre-expansion update.
- Updated enemy health for specific challenges: ** Closing the Eye: Increased by 20%. ** An Impossible Foe: Increased by 20%. ** The God-Queen's Fury: Increased by 15%. ** Feltotem's Fall: Increased by 20% (excluding Discipline Priest). ** Thwarting the Twins: Increased by 20%. ** The Highlord's Return: Increased by 15%.
Player versus Player
- Adjusted Training Grounds opponent effectiveness.
Quests
- Added Campaign headers for War Within campaigns.
- Fixed an issue with K'areshi Fragments becoming uninteractible during 'Distilled Darkness' quest.
Transmogrification
- Fixed an issue with Midnight Special Edition transmog sets not being usable at lower levels.
January 16, 2026
The Burning Crusade Classic
- Fixed a player limit issue in Blackrock Spire.
- Resolved a bug preventing 'The First and Last' quest from starting for eligible players.
- Cleansed Songflowers now apply their buff to the clicking player.
- Paladins can now learn Consecration from their trainer.
Shamans can learn Two-Handed Maces and Two-Handed Axes from the weapon trainer.
Player versus Player
** Increased Honor gain to 150% (previously 100%).
** Added level 51-60 versions of 'For Great Honor' (Horde) and 'Concerted Effort' (Alliance) quests.
** Developers' notes: These quests award 400 Honor (at level 60) and experience for levels 51-59. They don't require Eye of the Storm and will be updated accordingly. When the Dark Portal opens, these quests will no longer be available, and level 61-70 versions will become available.

The Burning Crusade Classic
- Restored character Boost services after a brief outage.
- Enabled Arena Skirmishes as intended.
- Fixed unintended throttling of Addons.
- Returned Chronoboon Displacer to its original cost and stack size.
