When will The Terminal List season 2 premiere? It’s been nearly three years since the release of The Terminal List, but Prime Video has finally announced (https://deadline.com/2026/05/the-terminal-list-season-2-premiere-date-prime-video-1236898431/) the premiere date for season 2 (https://www.joblo.com/the-terminal-list-season-2-prequel/) of the action thriller series starring Chris Pratt. During Amazon’s Upfronts presentation, it was revealed that all eight episodes of the new season will drop on Prime Video on October 21.
The Terminal List Season 2 centers on James Reece, a Navy SEAL commander who battles unknown conspiratorial forces seeking to upend the world order. Based on Jack Carr’s second novel, True Believer, Reece embarks on a journey of violent redemption, uncovering a conspiracy that spans Moscow to Langley and ties into his family’s history. The second season is set to be a true globe-trotting adventure, featuring the story taking place across the Indian Ocean, Southern and Northern Africa, the Middle East, and Europe.
In addition to Pratt, the second season cast also includes Tom Hopper, Constance Wu, Dar Salim, Luke Hemsworth, Gabriel Luna, Costa Ronin, Olga Kurylenko, Yul Vazquez, Arnold Vosloo, Shiraz Tzarfati, and more. Dark Wolf, the prequel to The Terminal List, follows Ben Edwards (Taylor Kitsch) on his journey from Navy SEAL to CIA, with plans to revisit the events of The Terminal List between seasons 1 and 2.
While fans have had to wait longer than expected for the main series, the franchise did return last year with The Terminal List: Dark Wolf (https://www.joblo.com/the-terminal-list-dark-wolf-tv-review/), a prequel following Ben Edwards. Although the second season isn’t officially renewed, there’s still more story to tell that could fill the years between Dark Wolf and the events of The Terminal List. "We’re seven years earlier, which gives us a long runway," Kitsch said last year (https://www.joblo.com/the-terminal-list-dark-wolf-season-2-taylor-kitsch/). "We have a pretty hard outline of where Ben’s gonna go if we’re lucky enough to do season 2." He hinted that the potential second season would tell an even darker story, shining a brighter light into the darkness of service. I love where we ended because we get way darker and I think you’ll see Ben truly fall in season 2, which obviously goes toward Terminal List season 1 and why he makes the decisions he does. I’m excited. I hope we can take one more swing and truly see this guy fall.
